Feeling curious?

Me too! My practice began in 2003 and has been through and continues to move through many evolutions. It’s one of the many things I love about the practice - the autonomy you have to take what you need.

Outside the studio, my own practice is mostly spontaneous — small movements on the living room floor, to explore strength, flexibility, and access to ranges of motion. These moments are often the spark of what offer I in class: presence over performance, curiosity over perfection.

I have learned and studied with wonderful teachers locally in BC and abroad and hold a 200hrYTT along with additional trainings in mindfulness, touch, and sequencing in various styles.

I’m a big fan of grey area, both/and - inviting students to move different ways on different days. I love teaching big group classes for the energy and anonymity they offer students, the space for people to tend to themselves. And I love smaller groups for the connection and care, the attention and guidance I can offer each individual.

You'll find me teaching and practicing across North Vancouver in studios and events spaces, and occasionally in the city.
